Hoho. i survived Area ATC! weeeeeeeeee! i gt lots of souvenir frm that WONDERUL island == eg. my mosquito bites....smelly clothes...and water? xD guess how many mosquito bites i have? So far...no one in the camp I knw of have more mosquito bites than me. :l i so zai right? and as usual its swelling and hurting. boohoo T.T
Yay so lets recap:
First day, me and clar went to coro to have lunch. had real early lunch then went to school! random stuff then changed then off we go to the changi jetty! reach thr. excited. took attendance. grpings told. i was in grp C! CASPER! :D weeeeeeeeeeee! anyway set off on the boat. peiting the bo do(no offence) who nvr take a boat before was exclaiming through the whole journey xD haha. reach thr. had a 1h+ hike to resilience camp. T.T regretted not bringing a lighter load. anyway reach thr had intro. pitch tent! sleeping with yijia, jaslyn (Raffles), two st mgs ppl. alamak! forgot their name! xD had a "2-man" pitch. yijia was very sian so yeah...pitch was tiring and sian T.T oh well...had icebreaker within our grp. was with zihan. 10 guys. 6 girls. Cant rmb all the guys name oh well...the girls name still can rmb: me, zihan, hazel (queensway) , kulvin (oops issit like that?) (queensway), meiling (queensway), eunice (st mg)....!!!! hohoho. 6 of us makes quite a great team xD and ben sir frm SJI unit was instructor of our grp! the rest of the day was like dinnerr....debrief...oh yeah hoho. mock campfire xD we helped CI sirs and ma'ams during the sing-along for 'linger' coz its kinda hard to sing it loud. :D RAINED! that reminds me. we had night walk. okay heres the funny thing. 10 in a group. so we mixed girls and guys. me zihan and hazel went with the hwachong-ians. 8 to be blindfolded. so i was. form a line and walk to the wulu deadend to complete task. this guy behind me. shall nt state name. said that he was scared. o.O and on his torchlight when he was blindfolded!?!?!?! i was like 'er...can i ask wads the use of it when u are blindfolded???'... this was his reply 'nah...im scared of the dark....makes me feel safer.' T.T WO DE MA YAH. CI sirs/ma'ams were disturbing us. gt one CI tug my trackpants. oh well...i tot it was the guy behind xD anyway. went back after the task of locating one paper and doing the forfeit and singing the pingpong song. xD ran back. tot was over. but wasnt. me who almost sprain my ankle coz i fell on the slope was hobbling along. went up to the wulu place at the LRC place. were told ghost stories T.T i suck at it can? suddenly they told us go back to assembly area. storm coming. T.T wo de ma yah T.T chiong back at emergency whistle. took bags frm tents. slept in assembly area! :D slept beside peiting. chat for awhile then slept.
2nd DAY: WOKE MOST PEOPLE UP! as usual. peiting suck at waking up xD wash up. fall in late T.T kana scolded. i will always bear in mind that we were thr for training camp and nt holiday chalet xD anyway. had PTA led by HO sir. stupid i ended up running at the back as a "fast runner" T.T stretching...flag raising....breakfast....activites! my grp went LRC first. 3 components: maze, rock-climbing, LRC course itself. anyway went for maze first. guys splited into 5.5. all 6 girls went together. LADIES FIRST T.T entrance open. saw 3 lizards run in. one frog hopping inside T.T WO DE TIAN AH! T.T went in pitch darkness other then the ventilation lighting. stood behind zh who went first. she was so frightened. everyone was screaming. so we went back to the entrance and scream for help. obviously no one bothered to do anything. so we basically walk inside then walk out again for abt 5 times. at last our eyes gt used to the darkness and we saw a hole. then we climbed thru after many screams and err...much time. everyone cleared. moved arnd. screamed even more. the guy didnt noe wad to do. so he open the exit door so that we can folo the light and find the exit. sort of helped. :D but once the lighting was off-ed. everyone screamed like a banshee. T.T came out after 15mins. i think we were the slowest grp. the guys that went in after us took only 5 mins. the other grp took a bit longer. T.T rock climbing...climb halfway then dun wan climb alrdy. zihan was pulled up. pull halfway then zh was screaming to come dwn. LRC LOL. climb until like dunno wad. couldnt balance. the SJI guy behind me was rather patient coz the rest of us infront were all girls and we were well....slow? xD anyway slow and steady wins the race. just that i wasnt steady. so sry to the guy xD i sat and scream for help for abt 5 mins becoz i was stuck at one of the station. kulvin(?) was afriad of swinging down and was sitting thr for 5mins screaming. then she accidentally fell and swing down LOL. everyone was like totally shocked. hazel landed on the butt. i screamed AHHH! and jump off. xD zihan was scared by the height this time xD lunch. THEN....LAND EXPEDITURE! walk like siao. 4h hike. T.T missed rafting. ARGH...walk until wanna cry. somemore my ankle was swollen becoz of the bites. T.T walked like sot ppl. ben sir cheated us and told us we weere taking short cuts and reaching soon. 1h after we set off he said "finishing soon" after every half hour he says the same thing == ARGH. im so naive T.T bei pian le. BATHED! AHHHHHHHHHH! RELIEVED SOME ITCH! campfire and stuff.....then lights out in tent. EHHH SQDMS! NOT I SAY YOU ALL. AFTER 12AM LIGHTS OUT YOU GUYS WERE SHOUTING AT EACH OTHER. THEN MY TENT MATES COMPLAIN LORH! TSK TSK. Lol. then i shouted for u guys to shut up xD chatted for awhile. then slp!!! :D
3rd DAY: woke up just on time. jaslyn woke me up this time. she was like "nicole!! your watch alarm is ringing!" since i dun lai chuang during camps i woke up immediately. yijia woke up. we woke the st mg girls too :D then went to wash up. though i swear that i wont wake sqdms up. i decided to be kind and do so. i woke peiting by shining a torch on her face and say peiting!!! she lai chuang for awhile then woke up. then i woke glenda's tent but to no avail. she continue to lai chuang. xD washed up and stuff...PTA canceled! woah! i wont be able to run anyway. at this point of time. since i got 2 bites each on both ankles. both ankles are badly swollen and its hurts like mad. T.T anyway breakfast, flag raising, clear up T.T so tiring. after the girls were done. the CI sir asked for 4 volunteers. all sqdms and i voluteered. hoho. then sirs and ma'ams were very impressed and said "we only need 4! no need 10! eh? why all nanyang?" haha. we cleaned the kitchen. then joined the other girls for debrief sort of thing. we had to name 10 bad points abt SJI guys xD LOL. all sir come up with de xD he wanted to x10 the no. of reasons and make the guys do punishment. LOL. so all of us were like :O!! LOL. girl campers are more zai lorh xD mass debrief. did claps and cheers. hmm tralalala~ take stuff...attendance...then set off for our hike home!! :D although wanted to die but we are going home!!! :D so happy. reach the jetty felt accomplished. took the boat and bus back to school. SUPER HAPPY! went out. lifted my hand and immediately flight a taxi. :D even happier! gt home! bathed, eat lunch and slpt! EVEN BETTER! :D so happy hohoho.
NOW LET ME TELL YOU HOW MANY MOSQUITO BITES I HAVE:
Left hand+arm: 17 bites
Right hand+arm: 14 bites
Left leg+thigh: 15 bites
Right leg+ thigh: 11 bites.
I rock. what a neat collection of mosquito bites. im pai ka-ed for the nxt few days. T.T i just love mosquitos...dont you?
